Effective October 3, 2026.
1. The service
Home Reels is an app for iPhone and Apple TV that collects a family's videos each month and makes a movie from them. It is offered by Gimm.me Inc. ("we", "us").
2. Your account
You sign in with your Apple Account. You must be old enough to hold one in your country and to agree to these terms. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your device secure.
3. Your content
Your videos, names and other content remain yours. You give us only the permission needed to run the service: to store your videos, make movies from them, and show them to the members of your family. We don't sell or advertise with your content.
You confirm you have the right to share what you upload, and that it doesn't infringe anyone's rights or the law. Anyone in your family can see the clips you share and remove clips from a month's movie; the family's owner can remove members.
4. Storage and limits
Each family has a storage limit, shown in the app. Clips you remove, and the clips of months you lock, are deleted from our storage. We may change limits or features and will say so in the app.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use Home Reels to store or share unlawful content, content that exploits minors, or content you don't have the right to share; don't try to break the service or reach other families' data. We may suspend or delete accounts that do.
6. Availability
We work to keep Home Reels running, but it is provided as is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for lost content or indirect damages. Keep your originals in your Photos library; Home Reels never deletes them.
7. Ending
You can delete your account in Settings at any time. We may end the service with reasonable notice in the app.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; the effective date above changes when we do, and the app will point you here.
9. Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for Home Reels or its content, has no duty to provide support for it, and isn't liable for claims about it; for any failure of the app to match its description you may notify Apple for a refund of any price paid (Home Reels is free). Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. You must also follow Apple's Media Services Terms, and you confirm you aren't in a country under a U.S. embargo or on a U.S. list of prohibited or restricted parties.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in California, unless the law where you live gives you the right to go to court there.
